Cellophane has been around since the early 1900’s invented in 1908 by a Swiss chemist. Made from cellulose (plant fibre), it is a great alternative to plastic. Cellulose film is made from a variety of natural sources, including wood, cotton, hemp, and corn.

No More Plastic Packaging cellophane bags (NatureFlex) are made from cellulose derived from FSC-certified wood pulp, ensuring it is compostable (to Australian standards), being produced from a sustainably sourced material.
Our compostable flat bags range from our smallest, NatureFlex Bag NFP2 (65 x 115mm) to around our largest NatureFlex 40 (250 x 400mm). Compostable gusseted bags range in size from 75 x 150 x 45mm to the largest being 200 x 430 x 65mm. We offer 23NK, 30NK, 315, and 440 gauge bags. See our range of sizes.
